Philosophy and Method
When we created Espai Tau Kids we believed strongly in the need to support families and their children. We believe that our work would not be effective without the help of co-therapists (family, friends, and school), so that the learning acquired in our sessions can be generalized to other contexts.
Our philosophy focuses on using the strengths and positive characteristics of each to prevent, improve and deploy those strengths and to help people achieve their goals.
Our method is simple, in addition to using those tools that have proven clinical efficacy, our pillar is the game, fun and above all empathy. When you come into our house, you feel at home, we want that when you leave our house because certain things have passed, decide to return, even to visit us. We want to be the wake on your way to a better life.

How do we work?
In an interdisciplinary way guided by the needs of each individual. We bring our knowledge of the different techniques and methods supported for each disease, disorder, difficulty or impairment, but always being flexible.
We work in different languages (English, Castilian, Catalan, Galician and Greek) both in terms of assessment and intervention. We want our patients and their families feel at home. In our center we understand that the language used in the family is important for learning, that´s why within our internal training we focus on improving those languages that allow us to approach the International World of Barcelona.
